Dynamic Facilitation Workshop

Are you keen to discover an advance level of facilitation skills?

Brief Synopsis

Dynamic Facilitation provides a transformational experience. Participants learn new skills, build new capabilities and often make fundamental life choices. The practice sessions and group demonstrations create the opportunity to address and solve real problems. Many previous participants have chosen to move forward as a group to practice the new discipline and to continue working on the issues they've worked on together in the workshop.

At the end of the workshop, participants will learn how to help people to:

¡ö achieve breakthroughs on difficult, emotional or ¡°impossible¡± issues

¡ö arrive at unanimous results and decisions

¡ö empower people to new levels of capability

¡ö build trust, respect, and the spirit of community in a group

¡ö grow in personal creativity and capability

Synopsis

The Everest Challenger is the world's first table-top teambuilding simulation game based on teams climbing Mount Everest. It is a careful mix of authenticity and `playability' – injecting learning outcomes, and rewarding great teamwork and cooperation. Teams organize themselves with limited resources and face various team and leadership challenges required to succeed on Mount Everest. Active debriefing will follow the conclusion of the simulation.

The Facilitator

David Lim (Certified Speaking Professional), is best known for leading the 1st Singapore Everest Expedition in 1998. He delivers unforgettable presentations on leadership and bouncing back from setbacks. David and his team have also been delivering solutions in negotiation and creative teambuilding for groups of up to 12,000 at a time, in 25 countries for the past decade. Clients include Citibank, AIA, Novartis, Pfizer, Nomura, and SingTel. For nearly a decade, David was on the adjunct faculty for INSEAD business school's programmes, engaging leaders on self and team leadership. David excels in helping believe they can be more than just ordinary.
