Programme Detail:

Part 1 - Facilitating Dilemmas through Polarity Management and Democratic Dialogue Approaches. Convinced that we can benefit from engaging multi-stakeholders more during initiatives/programmes/policy development but wonder know how that can be done?

Join us for an exciting time of discovery on how you can facilitate the uncovering of valid, important yet competing concerns from different stakeholder groups who can influence your initiatives and/or are impacted by them.

Come & experience a creative blend of process with adaptations from Polarity Management* & Democratic Dialogue** approaches.

*Polarity Management Identifying and Managing Unsolvable Problems is authored by Barry Johnson.

**Democratic Diagolue - A Handbook for Practioners co-authored by Betty Pruitt and Phillip Thomas and a joint effort of CIDA (Canadian International Development Agency) , International IDEA , OAS (Organisation of American States) and UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) receiving valuable input from a wider network of organizations.

The Facilitator:

Janice Lua has more than 16 years working experience with MNEs and 10 years experience in facilitating organisation-wide changes. She has several years of experience in supporting a national-scale project, involving cross-cultural interactions. She is a Certified Behavioural Consultant for DISC, 7-Habits Facilitator, Qualified SDI® Facilitator, IAF Certified Professional Facilitator and co-founder, Facilitators Network Singapore.

Part 2 - How to be Certified as a Professional Facilitator by International Association of Facilitators (IAF - CPF)?

The International Association of Facilitators was formed by a group of professionals desiring an avenue for interchange, professional development, trend analysis and peer networking. It provides an assessment based certification process for facilitators around the world to be certified as professional facilitators.

This session allows participants to mingle with IAF-CPFs from Singapore and find out more details of the certification process from the only IAF-CPF assessor from Singapore, Mr Ng Choon Seng.

The IAF Certified Professional Facilitators who will be present are:

1. Ms Janice Lua (ex-IAF Singapore Rep)
2. Mr Prabu Naidu (IAF Asia Rep)
3. Ms Lim Hong Li (IAF Singapore Rep)
4. Mr Ng Choon Seng (IAF CPF Assessor)
