Session 1: Flawless Consulting
Synopsis
Beyond the tools and techniques of consulting is the being of the consultant. Our clients learn more from how we are with them than what we say to them. In 90 minutes, Lee Kang Yam and Wendy Tan will facilitate a consulting process based on Peter Block's book `Flawless Consulting: A Guide to Getting Your Expertise Used'.
This book has been named by Organization Development Network (US) as one of the most influential books in the last 40 years. Participants are invited to bring a real challenge in their work into the session and the session will touch on the consulting process and values in Flawless Consulting.
Facilitators
Both Kang Yam and Wendy are founding partners of Flame Centre, an organization development consulting and training practice, and have been conducting Flawless Consulting workshops in the region for the past 6 years. They continue to be inspired by the ideals and values of authenticity and compassion for themselves and their clients.
Session 2: Confucian Facilitation!
Synopsis
Confucius was a sage during his time and had shared many great learnings which have been applied through the centuries, shaping individuals and societies. See how some of his teachings co-relate to how facilitation is done.
Facilitator
Lim Hock Ming is currently the IAF Singapore Country Representative. As an in-house facilitator in his company, he facilitates innovation thinking and values inculation workshops. He has also presented at the last 2 IAF Asia Conferences.
